Lalu to arrive in Jammu tomorrow
Jammu, Apr 5 (UNI) Railway Minister Lalu Prasad will arrive here tomorrow to flag off the Garib Rath Express.
The Garib Rath Express, comprising 12 coaches with 81 seats each, would operate between Jammu Tawi and Kath Godown, Uttar Pradesh.
The train is scheduled to leave Jammu at 1155 hrs every Sunday and reach Kath Godown at 1435 hrs on Monday.
''On every Monday, it will again leave from Kath Godown at 1830 hrs and reach Jammu Tawi at 0935 hrs on Tuesday initially once a week.
''The Railway authorities have provided 25 per cent discount on passenger fare on the pattern of Rajdhani Express,'' official sources told UNI.
Mr Prasad would also lay the foundation of electrification work on the Jammu-Jalandhar double rail track, they said.
