Keith Richards denies Rolling Stones' retirement

Washington, Apr 5 : Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has dismissed reports that the band is retiring.

The 64-year-old rocker denied that the most recent Rolling Stones tour was the band's last, insisting that he wishes to die onstage surrounded by his band mates.

"I've never heard anything about not going out again. I'm basically giving the guys a year off," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

The guitarist also said that he would withdraw his band mates' wages if they take more than a year off between tours.

"I'm not pushing, but I might withdraw their wages and see how they feel then," he added.

He also revealed to the Rolling Stone magazine that performing live is like therapy for him.

"I go onstage to get some f**king peace and quiet," he stated.
