Gas Summit to open on April 14

New Delhi, April 5: The fifth Asia Gas Partnership Summit will open in New Delhi on April 14. The summit will focus on energy security, opportunity and investment in Asian Gas Market.

UD Choubey, Chairman and Managing Director Gas Authority of India (GAIL) said that major gas discoveries in recent years and availability of domestic gas field have strengthened the countrys capacity to produce gas.

More than 300 delegates from 20 countries will participate in a two day event. The summit will be jointly organized by GAIL and FICCI.
