Flights affected following nor'wester

Kolkata, Apr 5 (UNI) An evening Nor'wester disrupted the flight schedule from the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International (NSCBI) airport today.

Airport sources here said while a Jet Airways flight from Kolkata to New Delhi had to return from the holding point on the runway, an Air Deccan flight from Kolkata to Guwahati returned from the take off point because of the high velocity wind.

An MGM flight from Dhaka to Kolkata had to return to Bangladesh because of the inclement weather, sources added.
