CM asks ministers to remain present during legislature sessions

Mumbai, Apr 5 (UNI) Taking note of the complaints that many of his ministers remained absent during the state legislature session proceedings, Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has said he will not hesitate to take action against such erring ministers.

Mr Deshmukh, in an official release here today, said he had asked all the ministers to remain present during the sessions. He said he had written letters to the ministers in this regard.

Meanwhile, Mr Deshmukh regretted that reporters were reporting on the informal discussions that they had with him. ''I wonder whether I should hold such informal discussions in the future,'' he remarked.
