Amar accuses Maya of 'sheltering' mafias
Siddharthnagar, Apr 5 (UNI) Flying the Mayawati led-Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party (SP) general secretary Amar Singh today accused the former of 'sheltering' mafia in the state.
''Mayawati is not running BSP like a political party, but it has become a private limited company,'' Mr Singh maintained while addressing an election meeting in Rudhauli tehsil of the Khalilabad parliamentary seat.
''The Chief Minister's utterances are political humbug...all her claims have turned hollow. UP has become a den of history-sheeters and mafia during the present regime,'' he claimed.
Mr Singh also reproached the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for being a ''communalist''.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actor and SP MP Jayaprada denounced the Mayawati regime for neglecting the interests of women, farmers, poors and backwards.
