4,127 sent to simple imprisonment for drunken, rash driving
Mumbai, Apr 5 (UNI) As many as 4,127 people have been sentenced to simple imprisonment in the metropolis since 2007 for drunken or rash driving.
Till yesterday, 1,428 people were sentenced to simple imprisonment for drunken driving while 29 others were awarded the same punishment for rash driving in the city, an official release said here today.
In 2007, 2,623 people were sentenced to simple imprisonment for drunken driving and 47 others for rash driving.
