3 lakh pilgrim take holy dip at Saraswati Teerath

Kurukshetra, Apr 5 (UNI) About 3 lakh pilgrims took a holy dip in the Saraswati Teerath here today on the occasion of the 'Chaitra Chaudas', marking conclusion of a two-day fair.

The fair attracted a large number of devouts from all over the country who also performed Pind-daan and Jal-tarpan for the departed members of their family, Mr Mahavir Kaushik, SDM Pehowa and the mela administrator said.

Many of them have now moved to Kurukshetra and Hardwar to have a holy dip tomorrow on the occasion of Chaitra Amaawasya.
