2 years RI to placement agency owner for fraud
New Delhi, Apr 5 (UNI) A local court today sentenced Anil Chaudhary, owner of Hero India placement agency, to two years Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) for running a fake placement agency.
Anil Chaudhary used to run a placement agency in the name of Hero India and lured people to make registration of Rs 800 in lieu of getting them jobs in Hero Honda company.
The case was registered under Crime branch, Delhi on October 16, 1997 under sections 420, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code against Anil Chaudhary, Vivek Pratap and the owner of the premises where the placement agency was situated.
The court acquitted the owner of the premises due to lack of evidence and the other accused, Vivek, was released for good conduct.
