Mild tremors hit Delhi and Haryana

New Delhi, Apr 4: A slight quake , measuring 3.4 on the richter scale, hit the Delhi and Haryana region on Thursday night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. The quake, epicentered in Sonepat, Haryana, at 29.0 degree North Latittude and 77.1 degree East Longitude, hit the region at 2256 hours, the IMD said.

There were no reports of casualty due to the quake, which the IMD described of light intensity.
