Rupee remains flat against USD in the opening trade

Mumbai, Apr 4: The Rupee today remained almost flat at 40.02/03 against the US Dollar amidst another choppy trading session.

The Indian unit seemed to be range-bounded in a band gap of two to three paise in the early trade and there were very few transactions taking place in the inter-bank foreign exchange (Forex) market, dealers said.
