Reliance Energy buys back 4 lakh equity shares

New Delhi, Apr 4: Anil Ambani-promoted Reliance Energy Ltd (REL) today said it has bought-back 4,00,000 equity shares of the company.

Since the commencement of the buy-back on March 25 this year, Reliance Energy has so far bought back 17,80,000 equity shares aggregating Rs 220.97 crore, it said in a statement. The Board of Directors of REL has approved buy-back of equity shares of the company up to an aggregate amount of Rs 800 crore, it added.
