Punjab targets to supply 7.93 lakh MT fertiliser to farmers
Chandigarh, Apr 4 (UNI) The Punjab Government would supply 7.93 lakh MT of fertilisers to farmers during this Kharif season.
Assuring the farmers that there would be no shortage of fertilizers, Agriculture Minister Sucha singh Langah said here today that 6.27 lakh MT of Nitrogen, 1.26 lakh MT of Phosphorus and 0.40 lakh MTs of Pottash would be provided to farmers of the state.
The Minister said to ensure proper distribution of fertiliser 10,546 sale points had been identified out of which cooperation agencies was allotted 3644 sale points, PAFC 19 while private agencies would distribute fertilizer from 6884 sale points.
