MP CM slams Centre for inflation

Betul, MP, Apr 4 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today alleged that wrong policies of the congress led United Progressive Alliance regime was responsible for inflation.

Addressing a rural public meeting in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Hemant Khandelwal, who is contesting the Betul Lok Sabha bypoll, Mr Chouhan accused the Centre of reducing the state's power and foodgrain quota.

Indian farmers were not being given adequate support price while wheat was being purchased from Australia at high rates, he added.
