Mamata calls 12-hour Bangla bandh on April 21

Kolkata, Apr 4: Trinamool Congress Supremo Mamata Banerjee today called a 12-hour Bangla Bandh on April 21 to protest the spiralling price rise in the state and the overall failure of the CPI(M)-led Left Front to control the situation.

She said keeping in mind the board exams she had not yet intensified her movement, but the spiralling price rise was affecting one and all and the Trinamool Congress and its 17-party Progressive Secular Democratic Front had called the bandh to protest the same.

Later, she courted a symbolic arrest.
