Kerala HC directs Govt to file affdvt on doctors' strike

Kochi, Apr 4 (UNI) The Kerala High Court today directed the State Government to file an affidavit showing the steps it had taken to counter the government doctors strike.

A division bench, comprising Chief Justice H L Dattu and Justice K M Joseph, directed the government to file the affidavit within a week.

The direction was issued on a public interest litigation (PIL) petition filed by Dr Ganapathy, seeking to declare the government doctors strike as illegal.

The government doctors are on a non-cooperation stir since last month, demanding pay revision.
