Justice Sharma Elevated To Apex Court

New Delhi, Aug 4 (UNI) Delhi High Court Chief Justice Mukundakam Sharma has been elevated as a Judge of the Supreme Court by President Pratibha Patil, it was announced this evening.

Justice Sharma's appointment takes effect the day he assumes office, the Law and Justice Ministry said in a statement.
