Contractor booked for cheating NRI doctor in Jammu

Jammu, Apr 4 (UNI) A Kashmiri contractor was booked by the Jammu and Kashmir police for duping a Non Resident Indian (NRI) doctor, who purchased a flat from the contractor, which had already been sold to the other party, sources here today said.

''The contractor sold a flat for Rs 17 lakh to NRI, which was already sold to another person. Contractor identified as NA Kamlili duped the NRI doctor Tasneema Lankar, hailing from Kashmir and practicing in London,'' sources told UNI.

However, earlier the flat was sold for Rs 10 lakh to a local person. Investigations revealed that the contractor has duped NRI doctor while case has been registered against him.
