Awla expelled from Congress for six years

Chandigarh, Apr 4 (UNI) Punjab Pradesh Congress President Rajinder Kaur Bhattal has expelled former Punjab Youth Congress President Raminder Singh Awla from the primary membership of the party for six years for his ''anti-party'' activities.

According to PPC General Secretary Raj Pal Singh, Ms Bhattal expelled Mr Awla on the report of the Ferozepur District Congress Committee President, who has reported that ''Mr Awla has been carrying out anti-party activities''.
