Two hideouts busted, arms and ammunition recovered in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 3 (UNI) Troops unearthed two hideouts and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in the Kashmir valley, a Defence Ministry spokesman said.

On a specific information a joint operation was launched by the troops of 5 and 24 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 10 PARA in general area Gahsil in Ganderbal district, he said.

He further added that after a long search of the area, troops busted a hideout and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition including one AK rifle, one gas cylinder, nine assorted clothings, four assorted utensils and other administrative stores.

In an another operation, troops of 33 Rashtriya Rifles and the police unearthed a hideout and recovered one AK magazine and 78 rounds of ammunition from general area at Magam.
