Thai woman held with heroin worth Rs 2.5 crore
New Delhi, Apr 03 (UNI) The Air Intelligence Unit of the Customs department today seized 2.48 kg of heroin from a Thai national at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
The sleuths detained Tongpool Buawiang when she was about to board a Malaysian Airways flight for Kulala Lampur. A thorough check revealed that she had concealed the contraband inside the bottom layer of her stroller suitcase. She was boked under various sections of the NDPS Act and sent to jail.
