Free admission facility for welfare hostel students

Kakinada, Apr 3 (UNI) The East Godavari district administration has decided to extend free admission facility in corporate colleges to all the welfare hostel students, who had secured more than 500 marks in the tenth class examination.

In a release here today, District Backward Class (BC) Welfare Officer D Chandrasekhara Raju said District Collector Gopalakrishna Dwivedi had taken the decision to help the students in pursuing higher education.

The decision would be applicable to all the students of social welfare, tribal welfare and backward classes welfare hostels in the district, the release added.
