Crime Branch files charges in fake appointment case
Srinagar, Apr 3 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Crime Branch (CB) has filed a challan against two people who issued a fake appointment order to a girl against Rs 56,000.
A spokesman for the CB said a complaint was received from one Kounsar Jan alleging that she had paid Rs 56,000 to Habibullah Bhat and M K Bhat.
She said later the accused issued a fake appointment order to her.
The spokesman said a FIR was registered and investigation taken up.
During investigation, it was found that the order issued by the accused to her was fake.
Hence a prima-facie case of cheating was established against the accused and case submitted to the court, he said.
