CPI(M) holds demonstration against BJP, RSS

Nashik, Apr 3 (UNI) District and city unit of Communist Party of India-Marxist CPI(M) held a demonstration against BJP and RSS, in front of the District Collectorate here today.

As many as 300-350 CPI(M) activists participated in the demonstration to protest the attack on the Party's activists and office at Pune by activists of RSS outfit, Hindu Garjana, yesterday.

Party city unit secretary Tanaji Jaybhave Shreedhar Deshpande and leader Jayprakash Mhatre led the agitation.

''The CPI(M) would not tolerate such attacks. We will give an equal answer to this,'' Mr Mhatre said.

The demonstrators shouted slogans and submitted a memorandum to the district collector.
