Youth flees in Govt bus; arrested

Chennai, Apr 2 (UNI) A jobless youth is cooling his heels behind the bars after he gave into his temptation to be at the wheels of a bus and drove away a Government bus parked in Tambaram on the outskirts of the city, today.

Police said K Selvakumar (20), who had passed a course in automobile engineering, drove away the Tambaram-Tindivanam bus when the driver and conductor of the bus had gone for lunch.

Police later tracked the bus on the ECR and gave it a hot chase.

The speeding bus hit a tree and stopped near Muttukadu. Police arrested Selvakumar.
