WB Panchayat poll dates not yet fixed: State Election Commission

Kolkata, Apr 02 (UNI) State Election Commissioner Ashok Gupta today said the dates for the Panchayat election in West Bengal would be announced soon.

Mr Gupta said though the three-tier poll was likely to be held in May, the final dates for the election were yet to be fixed.

He said the Commission was taking all adequate measures to make the election free and fair.
