Poor nations need fund to fight global warming
Thailand, April02, 2008: Poor countries participating in the U.N. climate change talks have demanded more money from wealthy nations to cope with the challenges of global warming.
The delegates of poor countries have said that they will not sign a global warming pact in 2009 to stabilize emissions over the next decade and cut them in half by 2050 if money is not provided. These countries have said that they cannot afford the heavy infrastructural costs keeping global warming at bay.
