Steel Strips receives export order worth Rs 110 cr from Renault

New Delhi, April 2 (UNI) Steel Strips Wheels Ltd today said it has received an export order from European car major, Renault worth Rs 110 crore for supply of about one million Steel Wheel Rims.

This export order is for one of their new vehicles to be produced in Europe and for a period of five years.

The company expects its exports to grow over 200 per cent in FY 08-09 and hopes to cross the export of 4,25,000 Wheels Rims in FY 08-09, a company statement said.

During the quarter ended March 31, 2008, the Company has registered a growth of 24.27 per cent in sales of Wheels Rims as compared to the same period last year.
