RBI's ref for USD down by one paisa at Rs 39.98

Mumbai, Apr 2 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India fixed the reference rate for the USD today at Rs 39.98, down by one paisa as compared to 39.97 on March 31.

The exchange rates for Great Britain's Pound against the Rupee were up at Rs 79.0904 per pound (Rs 79.5383) while for Japanese Yen were Rs 39.17 per 100 Yen (Rs 40.08), an RBI release said.
