Peacock killer arrested in Sangli

Sangli, Maharashtra, Apr 2 (UNI) One person was arrested here today for allegedly killing a peacock.

Aluddin Kazhi alias Allu Kazhi from Miraj was allegedly involved in killing of a peacock at Karjat section near Pune few months back and was absconding since then, police said.

Police picked up Kazhi in Sangli, where he had come to exercise his vote in the Municipal Corporation ward number three elections, police added.
