Man nabbed with 1 kg smack in Moga

Moga, Apr 2 (UNI) The CIA staff patrol party nabbed a notorious drug peddlar on Mastewala-Kotisekhan link road in the district and seized one Kg smack from him.

The nabbed drug peddlar was identified as Sukhdev Singh alias Saiba, a resident of Daulewala village near Kotisekhan, Moga SSP Ashok Baath here today.

According to SSP police party, signalled the motorbike-borne suspect to stop and on his search, recovered the contraband.

His interrogation revealed that he was a regular peddlar and used to bring the smack from Rajasthan.

He was operating in the Dharamkot and Moga region and supplied the drug mainly to the youths, a majority of them being students.
