Kamal Nath escapes in dais collapse
Harda, MP, Apr 2 (UNI) Union Commerce Minister Kamal Nath escaped unhurt as a temporary dais occupied by him and 40 others collapsed in Harda district of Madhya Pradesh this morning.
The wooden structure at Rehatgaon near Timarni in this district was erected for the election campaign in favour of Sukhdev Panse, Congress candidate for Lok Sabha byelection in Betul constituency.
Mr Nath and Mr Panse did not suffer any injury, police said, adding few workers suffered bruises.
The Congress workers immediately put up a dais using mattresses and Mr Nath addressed the meeting.
