Former Indri MLA joins Congress

Karnal, Apr 2 (UNI) Former independent MLA from Indri constituency in Karnal and state minister in the Bansi Lal government Bhim Mehta today joined Congress party along with his supporters.

In all probabilities, Mr Mehta will be a strong contender for the party ticket from the Indri constituency, which will soon witness byelection after the disqualification of its MLA Rakesh Kamboj, who had won on the Congress ticket and later joined Janhit Congress of Bhajan Lal.
