BPL families lists to be reviewed on April 6

Shimla, Apr 2 (UNI) The Rural Development Department of Himachal Pradesh has scheduled the review of lists of BPL families on April six to select eligible families and remove discrepancies, a department spokesman said.

Such families would not be included in the list who have two hectare non irrigated land or one hectare irrigated land, pucca house or big house, income tax payers, owners of four wheeled vehicles, have monthly income more than Rs 2500 and whose any member was in government service, he said in a release here.

The spokesman said the objections regarding the amendment in the list could be filed to the concerned SDM (Civil) and further to the concerned Deputy Commissioner.
