BJP to launch week-long agitation against rising prices
Panaji, Apr 2 (UNI) The BJP will launch a week-long agitation in Goa from April 7, to protest the 'spiralling prices' of essential commodities.
Disclosing this to mediapersons here today, Opposition leader Manohar Parrikar said the State government has failed to initiate measures to check the price rise, while the Congress-led UPA government was on the job.
He further alleged that the Digambar Kamat led government in the State was a total failure on all fronts, including law and order and checking crimes.
Mr Parrikar also sought recall of Governor S C Jamir for his acts of commission and omission since he assumed charge in Goa.
