Akshay Kumar to play Tatya Tope

New Delhi, Mar 30, 2008 : If Bollywood tattle is to be believed Akshay Kumar could well be soon seen playing the role of the legendary hero of India's first freedom struggle Tatya Tope.

The ambitious film is the co-production between the government of India and producer Firoz Nadiadwala. The film on Tatya Tope is a 50-50 joint venture between the ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Nadiadwala's film production company.
