Rs 15.29 crore surplus budget for TMC
Tirupati, Apr 1 (UNI) The ratified budget proposals for the Tirupati Municipal Corporation (TMC) has showed a surplus of Rs 15.29 crore while the total receipts for 2008-09 would be Rs 106.55 crore and Rs 128.89 crore as expenditure.
With the inclusion of the opening balance of Rs 23.87 crore, there would be a surplus of Rs 15.29 crore in the budget, TMC Commissioner P Mohan Reddy said here today.
The major sources of the revenues were property tax collection, town planning building fee, encroachment regularisation fee, surcharge on stamp duty and water supply charges among others, he said.
