RBI notifies against purchase of equity by FIIs in two Cos

Mumbai, Apr 1 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India today notified against purchase of equity shares of Arihant Foundations&Housing Limited and Heritage Foods (India) Limited on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) through primary/secondary markets in India without obtaining its prior permission.

The Reserve Bank, in a release here, said FII investments of these companies have reached 22 per cent of their paid up capital.
