Rajesh Lilothia appointed chairman of SC/ST Welfare Board
New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) Mr Rajesh Lilothia has been appointed Chairman of the SC/ST Welfare Board, a Delhi Government release said today.
Mr Lilothia, who represents the Baljit Nagar Assembly Constituency, has been appointed the Chairman of the Board for a tenure of two years, the release said.
He replaces Mr Amrish Gautam, MLA, whose term expired recently.
The SC/ST Welfare Board is responsible for accelerating the pace of upliftment of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes communities by rendering its constructive contribution in implementation of various welfare schemes.
