Private complaint against actor Suresh Gopi

Kochi, Apr 1 (UNI) A private complaint was filed in a local court here, seeking registration of a case against well known Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi for inaugurating ''Janamythri Suraksha Padhyathi'', wearing a police uniform.

In his complaint, M A Firosh, a lawyer, submitted that the actor clad in police uniform had violated the Police Act.

The police should have registered a case against him for impersonation and for violating the Act, he submitted.

The complaint was posted for further hearing on May 5.
