MLA's son charged with attack on police official
Narsinghpur, MP, Apr 1 (UNI) BJP MLA Jalam Singh Patel's son has been charged with attacking and opening fire on a police station incharge here, police said today.
Monu, Mr Patel's son, and his friends allegedly attacked J P Mishra near Fuhar Chowk at Gotegaon last night. They also opened fire in the air to terrorise Mr Mishra and fled away on counter firing.
Gotegaon legislator Hakam Singh Chadhar alleged that unidentified people opened fire at his vehicle and attacked Mr Mishra when he was inspecting that spot alongwith Mr Chadhar.
A case was registered against Monu and his accomplices under Indian Penal Code Section 147, 186, 294, 353 and 506, police added.
