Man with fake passport held at airport

Tiruchirapalli, Apr 1: The Airport Police has arrested a person for attempting to fly to Dubai using a fake passport at the international airport here.

Police said Jamal Mohammed of Thirukkalambut in Pudukkottai district presented his travel documents to the immigration authorities. On examination, the officials found that his passport was fake.

Later, he was handed over to local police who arrested him yesterday. Jamal was remanded to judicial custody.
