Lalu's nephew detained for manhandling former IMA President

Patna, Apr 1 (UNI) Patna police detained Anil Kumar, nephew of Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, for manhandling former IMA President last night.

Police said Anil Kumar was taken into custody for allegedly trying to abduct noted Urologist and former IMA President Dr Ajay Kumar near the Zoo under Sachivalaya police station area here late last night. Police also seized an Ambassador car from the spot.

Mr Prasad's nephew had been detained for interrogation as the car seized from the spot was registered in his name, sources said, adding efforts were on to locate the driver and also ascertain the identities of those travelling in the car.
