Jet tickets to cost Rs 150-300 more

New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) Jet Airways today said it will raise the fuel surcharge by Rs 150-300 from April 7 following hike in aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by more than 13 per cent.

''The surcharge will be Rs 1,800, an increase of Rs 150, if the distance is less than or equal to 750 miles,'' a Jet Airways spokesman told UNI.

''If the distance is more than 750 miles, then we will charge Rs 2,000 on every ticket, an increase of Rs 300,'' he said.

The ATF prices were raised by public sector companies yesterday in the wake of spiralling global crude prices.
