Innova sets new record in sales

Bangalore, Apr 1(UNI) Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has posted a record breaking performance in March this year with sales of the Innova model crossing 6215 units.

This translates into an all time high sales for Innova since its launch in 2005.

The sales recorded 15 per cent growth against 5411 units sold in the same month last year, a company release said.

Since its launch, Toyota Innova had sold over 1.32 lakh units and had appealed to MPV customers as well as Sedan buyers. In just one year the model dominated the MPV market but also proven to be an excellent option for Sedan customers.

TKM Managing Director K K Swamy said, "Innova has been well accepted by the Indian customer because of its versatility and usage and exceptional car comfort and we are looking at increasing the market share. This growth is driven by Innova's high performance." UNI RS MSP RKN1839
