Four injured in building collapse, inquiry ordered
New Delhi, Apr 1 (UNI) Three days after a Seelampur building came down, another under-construction building collapsed in West Delhi's Rohini area today critically injuring four people.
The Delhi government, late in the evening, ordered a vigilant inquiry into the incident and dismissed one Junior Engineer and suspended two others.
While Junior Engineer Kapil Garg, who was working on a contract basis, was dismissed, Assistant Engineer DS Malik and Beldar Ramesh were suspended.
Fire department officials said one labourer was still trapped in the rubble and the rescue operation was continuing to pull him out.
Several labourers were working at the site when the three- storeyed house in F-17 Market of Sector 16 came down at 1530 hrs, he said.
The injured were rushed to a hospital.
