Dharm Singh takes strong exception to Mr Karunanidhi's statement
Gulbarga, Apr 1(UNI) Former Karnataka Chief Minister and senior Congress leader N Dharma Singh today took exception to the statement made by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi over Hognekkal project.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Singh described the statement of Mr Karunandhi as 'irresponsible and provocative'.
Mr Singh urged the Union Government to restrain Mr Karunanidhi from making such provocative statement He said that a Congress delegation would meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh shortly to appeal to solve the Hognekkal issue.
Referring to BJP delegation led by former Chief Minister Yeddyurappa going to Hognekkal project site to protest against the construction, Mr Singh alleged that the BJP was trying to use it for their political mileage.
"The BJP and JD(S) were scared with tremendous to the recent state visit of AICC General Secretary Ruhul Gandh and seeking ways to counter it", he alleged.

fight
the
election
unitedly
and
would
not
project
anyone
as
Chief
Ministerial
candidate.

who
