CPI (M) for equidistance from Cong, BJP
Coimbatore, Apr 1 (UNI) The 19th Congress of the CPI(M) today declared the party would maintain equidistance from the Congress and the BJP, while taking the initiative for launching a third alternative front.

Briefing newspersons on the deliberations, Party Politbureau Member S Ramchandran Pillai said all the amendments suggested by the delegates sought to improve the formulation and strengthen the draft. The resolution was adopted unanimously, he added.
