Air Marshal Mukul new SAC chief

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 1 (UNI) Air Marshal S C Mukul today assumed charge as the new Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Air Command (SAC) here.

He inspected the guard of honour and took the salute, a release said here.

Air Marshal Mukul had held a variety of operational and staff appointments, including command of a frontline figther squadron during his career.

He had also functioned as Air Assistant to the Chief of the Air Staff (Operations) at Air Headquarters.

Prior to this assignment, Air Marshal Mukul was the Senior Air Staff Officer at South Western Air Command, IAF, the release added.
