4 killed, 6 hurt as lorry hits auto
Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, Apr 1 (UNI) Four people, including three women, were killed on the spot and six injured when an iron ore-laden lorry hit an autorickshaw at Vegurukaluva near Kovur of this district here today.
Police said ten labourers were proceeding from Pallipadu to Kagulapadu in the ill-fated autorickshaw when the lorry, which was going to Krishnapatnam Port from Kadapa, dashed against it.
All the injured were admitted to a local hospital. A search was on for the lorry driver who was absconding, police added.
